Another famous landmark is Biloxi’s Lighthouse, which is a feat in and of its own. The first Lighthouse to be made of cast-iron along the coast, this decision has proved to be a great one. Similar to the Beauvoir, the lighthouse has withstood several hurricanes due to how structurally sound it is. Restored after Hurricane Katrina, you’ll find painted bands inside the lighthouse to mark heights at which the sea level rose.
