Winter
Since Biloxi is closer to the equator, it tends to stay reasonably warm even in the winter, with the lows only getting down to around 48˚F at night and about 64˚F during the day. While you’ll probably still feel more comfortable in long pants and a jacket, it’s still gorgeous, beautiful sunny weather on the Gulf Coast!
But one great thing about a winter vacation to Biloxi is that you won’t have as many crowds to contend with, making it an extra special stay. And there are still plenty of things to do in the winter, like check out the shops, find a beachside bar, or hang out on the beach.
Biloxi Weather in Spring
It doesn’t take long for the weather to start warming up since the winters here are so mild. During the spring months, you can expect temperatures to be in the 50s and 60s during the night and in the 70s and 80s during the day.
With the warmer temps comes more people to enjoy the weather! You probably will want to bring a light jacket and pants if you get cold easily, but it’s a little less likely to need them this time of year. It is still relatively dry, so you probably don’t need to worry about much rain.
Spring activities get a little more festive this time of year, with this area being a popular spring break destination. You can catch some great festivals and events and have a lot of fun! Or see a swamp tour, try the casinos, or see a local historic landmark like the Biloxi Lighthouse.
Summer
When summer finally hits, it is the full-blown tourist season, and the beaches and shops are bustling with people having fun. The weather tops out at almost 80˚ at night and quickly hits the 90s during the day. It is time for shorts, swimsuits, and hats. Bring plenty of sunscreen and shade, and don’t forget to drink plenty of water!
Enjoy tons of sun and plenty of summer recreation to fill your vacation up to the brim! There is just about everything to do and see this time of year, from hanging out on the beach and getting a great tan to renting jet skis, festivals, or even trying a ship island excursion!
Biloxi Weather in Fall
After the busy summer, the days shorten again, and the hot heat cools off for fall. The crowds start to dwindle, and it sets a certain ambiance with fewer people around. The temperatures are still warm in September, but by November, they cool off down to the 50s at night and the mid-70s during the day. Consider bringing a light jacket, just in case.
Of course, the beaches are still open and always a great place to hang out. But there are other great things to do this time of year. Visit the Maritime Museum and learn more about the area’s history, grab a coffee at a café like Jacked Up Coffee Bar, or take an exciting Betsy Ann Riverboat cruise and explore the coastline!
